Recalled Smoke Detectors

Firefighter Michael Pellegrino, May 10

Kiddie has recalled over 200,000 smoke/carbon monoxide detectors for failing to properly activate in the event of an emergency. We urge everybody who has a smoke detector to check and make sure you do not have a recalled unit. We also would like to remind the public to please frequently test your smoke/carbon monoxide alarms and to change the batteries every 6 months.
