On Friday December 22nd, 2023 at approximately 20:15 hours the West Harrison Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on White Plains Avenue for a report of a car into garage with structural damage and injuries. While enroute Car 2501 added a rescue from purchase due to the nature of the incident. Upon arrival units discovered a vehicle that had struck the corner of the garage causing significant structural damage and all occupants were out of the vehicle. Due to the structural damage West Harrison Units had to shore the affected area of the garage to prevent any further damage or a collapse. Units operated on scene for approximately 1 hour before returning to service and 1 party was transported to White Plains Hospital for evaluation.
