This past Friday, July 5th, 2024, the West Harrison Fire Department paid respects in a wonderful Funeral/Memorial Mass for life member Bill Tassani Sr., who passed away at the age of 100! Throughout Bill's career at the Fire Department, he served in various administrative roles and for a time, his son Bill Jr, was also a member before moving to Brewster and joining the Brewster Fire Department.

In a touching tribute, along with his son Bill Jr. and daughter Jane, close friend and priest, Father George of St. Anthony of Padua Church gave a beautiful eulogy. They all spoke of BIll's endless dedication, commitment, faith, service and love for his family, community and country throughout his 100 years of life.

We would again like to thank the members of the Brewster Fire Department for helping honor the loss of our Brother Bill.
