This past Sunday members of the West Harrison Fire Department traveled to the New Haven Fire Training Center in CT to attend a training hosted by northeast squad concepts. The training topic was “everything engine”. The training consisted of 2nd floor fires, basement fires, standpipe operations, rope stretches, long distance stretches and many more topics. Some evolutions were done under live fire conditions to better prepare members when encountered with these scenarios in the field. Our members are consistently training in order to better serve the residents of Harrison and Westchester County and to provide the highest service of fire protection.
