The West Harrison Fire Department will be hosting an Open house/recruitment event on April 24th from 10am-3pm as part of the RecruitNY campaign. This campaign is to bring awareness to the public for the need of volunteer firefighters and also to recruit new members and highlight the rewards of being a volunteer firefighter.

During the day members will be on hand to answer questions about being a volunteer firefighter, the training involved, tours of the firehouse and fire apparatus will be given and this will be followed up with a live demonstration of a vehicle extrication. All members of the public are welcome to attend and we look forward to seeing you there.
