Working Structure Fire

On Wednesday May 11th 2022, at 1556 hours the West Harrison Fire Department, along with an engine from Purchase and a Harrison Tower Ladder were dispatched to 102 Columbus Avenue on a reported structure fire. Car 2501 (Chief Pellegrino) was first to arrive on scene and transmitted the 10-75 (Working Structure Fire) bringing a FAST (Firefighter Assist and Search Team) from Valhalla to the scene and a Ladder from North White Plains. First Due Engine Companies arrived on scene within minutes of dispatch and stretched a line to the attached garage where the main body of fire was located. The fire was knocked down within minutes of arrival. Additional crews preformed searches of the residence and also preformed overhaul of affected areas. Searches were complete and negative and No extension was found in the structure and the fire was placed under control at 1620 hours. Thanks to our mutual aid departments for responding to the scene and thanks to Port Chester Tower Ladder 2 and Armonk Engine 286 for covering the district while we were operating.
