On Tuesday May 17th at 1600 hours West Harrison Fire was dispatched to the intersection of Westchester Ave westbound near Columbus avenue for a report of a car fire. Engine 265 arrived on scene in under 2 minutes and confirmed the car fire. Members stretched 100ft of 1 3/4 inch hose and extinguished the fire. Members operated on scene for approximately 30 minutes and then the scene was turned over to Harrison PD to await the tow company. White Plains Fire Department was also on scene to assist us.
