Today the West Harrison Fire Department took delivery of a brand new 12 foot 6 person inflatable boat with a mercury 25 HP motor. Within the West Harrison Fire District lies many bodies of water such as Silver Lake, Rye Lake which is shared with the Armonk fire district, Spring Lake, and Forest lake. With the addition of the boat to our fleet this will allow us to provide a higher level of protection to the residents and visitors of the Town Village Of Harrison and to our mutual aid partners throughout Westchester County. The boat will be placed into service in the near future once training and familiarization is conducted with all the members. We would like to thank the Town Village Of Harrison and board of fire commissioners for making this happen and thank you to Mid-Atlantic Rescue Systems, INC. for working with us to get it ordered and delivered. We look forward to using this boat for many years to come.
